Key Points:

  • McVeggie™ sandwich now available across Canada starting September 16, 2025.
  • Features a breaded veggie patty made with carrots, beans, zucchini, peas, soybeans, broccoli, and corn.
  • Also offered as the Spicy Habanero McVeggie with McDonald’s creamy Habanero sauce.

McDonald’s Canada has officially launched the McVeggie nationwide, giving Canadians a new plant-forward option on the menu. The sandwich features a seasoned breaded vegetable patty packed with carrots, green beans, zucchini, peas, soybeans, broccoli, and corn. It’s served on a sesame seed bun with shredded lettuce and creamy mayo-style sauce.

For spice lovers, the Spicy Habanero McVeggie is also available, topped with McDonald’s signature Habanero sauce. Guests can order the sandwich à la carte or as part of an Extra Value Meal with McDonald’s World Famous Fries™.

The move comes after successful regional tests in British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick earlier this year. It’s part of McDonald’s Canada’s broader effort to expand inclusive menu options, which also includes oat beverages for McCafé and vegetarian-friendly Happy Meal choices.
