Critics Choice Awards 2025: Film Nominees Announced

The Critics Choice Association has revealed the first wave of nominees for the 30th Annual Critics Choice Awards. The ceremony is set for January 12, 2025, at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles. Leading the nominations are Conclave and Wicked, each securing 11 nods across major categories.

Top contenders for Best Picture include Dune: Part Two, The Brutalist, Wicked, and Conclave. In acting, Adrien Brody (The Brutalist), Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), and Cynthia Erivo (Wicked) are among the standout nominees. Supporting categories highlight Ariana Grande (Wicked), Edward Norton (A Complete Unknown), and Danielle Deadwyler (The Piano Lesson).

Other notable mentions include Emilia Pérez for Best Foreign Language Film and Inside Out 2 for Best Animated Feature. Technical categories like cinematography, editing, and costume design honor films such as Nosferatu, Dune: Part Two, and Gladiator II. The awards will celebrate the best in film, with winners announced in January.
